Accessibility statement
DRAFT — not reviewed by a lawyer and not in force. Written from what the software does today, for qualified counsel to review. Square-bracketed items are details only the company can supply.
Our aim
We want children and parents to be able to use the site with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom and different devices. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA [target and conformance claim: to be confirmed after an independent audit].
What exists today
- A “skip to content” link, labelled controls and headings on every page.
- Lessons for younger children can be read aloud by a voice already built into the device (nothing is recorded or sent anywhere).
- The site works at phone widths.
Known limits
We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit or testing with assistive-technology users. Some decorative emoji and some game interactions may be harder to use with a screen reader or without a pointer. We will list specific gaps here as we confirm them.
